Events: The Assembly Rooms for weddings and gatherings

“The Kings Arms Hotel has an intriguing blend of historic charm and modern amenities, placing it right in the heart of Berwick Upon Tweed, near the Maltings Theatre and the dramatic ruins of Alnwick Castle; its inviting cocktail bar, rumoured to be the first in town, and the on-site Italian restaurant are definite highlights. While some past guests have pointed out issues with noise and dated decor, I appreciate the hotel's central location and on-site dining. It's a unique stay for those wanting to be close to everything.”

The staff was helpful I found them friendly. The breakfast was very tasty I had the omelette. The location was perfect for exploring.
The room was a bit cold so I plugged in the electric heater as the central heating was off. The window sill had not been dusted in a long time I found that a bit disappointing. The bathroom seemed dated the climb to enter the bath was unsafe.
